COMPOSITION:

96% Los Carneros Zinfandel, 4% Russian River Petite Sirah

WINEMAKING:

Fermented in a combination of closed and open top fermenters.

MATURATION PERIOD:

22 months in a combination of new and mature French oak barrels.

TASTING NOTES:

Fine aromatics of clove & black pepper first greet the senses. The taste rises on layers of boysenberry and plum, followed by a silky finish of spice, semi-sweet chocolate and sweet tannin.

FOOD PAIRING:

Colorado lamb kebabs ▪%ÿj Grilled salmon with barbeque sauce and baked beans.

AGEING POTENTIAL:

Open at present or cellar 3 to 6 years

IDEAL SERVICE TEMPERATURE:

62 - 64°

SUGGESTED TYPE OF GLASS:

Riedel Vinum Extreme: 444/5 - Chianti/ Riesling
